EVCA Newsletter December Edition - the latest VC jobs, news, and content
Happy Holidays, EVCA community!
As we look toward the end of 2025, gratitude feels like the right place to begin. It has been a challenging year across venture, with slower deployment, tighter fundraising conditions, and higher bars for both founders and funds. Yet throughout it all, this community continued to show up with thoughtful co-investments, candid perspectives, and steady optimism about where the industry is heading.
Thank you, as individuals, for the time, energy, and generosity you have invested in one another, from sharing career inflection points to supporting quick diligence and references, and opening doors for emerging and aspiring investors across the EVCA network. We wish you a restorative break, meaningful time with friends and family, and the space to enter 2026 with renewed clarity and conviction about the kind of investor, colleague, and community member you want to be. We look forward to building an even more connected, collaborative, and resilient EVCA community in the year ahead!
Featured Investor
This month we highlight Brian Litvak of Ibex Investors as our featured investor of the EVCA community
Brian Litvak is a Vice President at Ibex Investors, an alternative investment manager with geographic and thematic venture capital and hedge fund strategies. He works on Ibex’s early-stage Mobility VC strategy, partnering with founders pursuing large opportunities in mobility, manufacturing, and logistics. Previously, he was at Aster Capital, a VC firm focused on energy, mobility, and industrial technologies. Brian got his start in venture through an internship while pursuing his master’s in energy markets at ESCP, where he studied across multiple countries and indulged in perhaps one too many French pastries.
